Matt Dillon (February 18, 1964) is an actor born in New Rochelle, New York, USA
His first notable roles were in a series of "teen" themed movies, but he won critical acclaim for his performance as Bob in Gus Van Sant's Drugstore Cowboy.
He also wrote and directed the 2002 film City of Ghosts, starring himself, James Caan and Gérard Depardieu.
His most recent film is "Crash", which was cowritten and directed by Paul Haggis, who also wrote "Million Dollar Baby".
