She is best known for voicing most of the female characters in the series South Park and in the 1999 film South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut. Her characters included Liane Cartman, mother of Eric Cartman; Sheila Broflovski, mother of Kyle Broflovski; Sharon Marsh, mother of Stan Marsh; Mrs. McCormick, mother of Kenny McCormick; and Wendy Testaburger. Her death at the age of 38 by suicide came as a great shock to those close to her, who were unaware that she suffered from mental illness.
