Marvel Universe: The End is a six issue comic book miniseries written by Jim Starlin and published by Marvel Comics.
In it, the Marvel Universe ended only very briefly when a once-again omnipotent Thanos destroyed it in a fit of pique, before the surviving Adam Warlock and Death convinced him to restore it at the cost of his omnipotence.
It was a sequel of sorts, in that Thanos continued to be the lead character, events in Infinity Abyss, and is in turn continued in Thanos.
