Maria Teresa Fumarola Ligorio (December 2, 1889 - May 14, 2003) was the first resident of Italy to reach the verified age of 113, and remained the national longevity recordholder until June 2005.
Born in San Marzano de Giuseppe Puglia, she married Donato Ligorio and had ten children. She died in Fragagnano, a small town near Taranto.
