Manuel Montt Torres (1809 - 1880) was a Chilean political figure. He served as the president of Chile between 1851 and 1861. His son Pedro Montt would also go on to be president in 1906.
The Chilean touristic center city of Puerto Montt, is named after Manuel Montt.
