Madison is a village located in Madison County, New York. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 315.
The Village of Madison is in the central part of the Town of Madison on US Route 20.
Geography
Madison is located at 42°54'2" North, 75°30'54" West (42.900775, -75.515153)Template:GR.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.3 km² (0.5 mi²). None of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 315 people, 138 households, and 77 families residing in the village. The population density is 243.2/km² (626.5/mi²). There are 151 housing units at an average density of 116.6/km² (300.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 99.68% White, 0.00% Black or African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.32% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.63% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
