Madawaska is a census-designated place located in Aroostook County, Maine. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 3,326.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 13.7 km² (5.3 mi²). None of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 3,326 people, 1,523 households, and 927 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 243.2/km² (629.8/mi²). There are 1,667 housing units at an average density of 121.9/km² (315.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 98.11% White, 0.09% Black or African American, 0.51% Native American, 0.66% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.12% from other races, and 0.51% from two or more races. 0.18% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
