Maariv (Hebrew evening) is a daily newspaper in Israel. Maariv is considered to express the opinion and feeling of the Jewish general public in Israel, and quoted much by the foreign press because of the emotional headlines it uses for news events. The Nimrodi family holds controlling stake in Maariv, and Yaakov Nimrodi serves as its chairman. Maariv's chief editor is Amnon Dankner.
