This is the list of Major League Baseball players that have been played for four different teams in the same season:

  2. Willis Hudlin: 1940 (Cleveland Indians, Washington Senators, St. Louis Browns, New York Giants)
  3. Paul Lehner: 1951 (Philadelphia Athletics, St. Louis Browns, Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox)
  4. Ted Gray: 1955 (Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees, Baltimore Orioles)
  5. Wes Covington: 1961 (Milwaukee Braves,, Chicago White Sox, Kansas City Athletics, Philadelphia Phillies)
  6. Mike Kilkenny: 1972 (Detroit Tigers, Oakland Athletics, San Diego Padres, Cleveland Indians)
  7. Dave Kingman: 1977 (New York Mets, San Diego Padres, California Angels, New York Yankees)
  8. Dave Martinez: 2000 (Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Chicago Cubs, Texas Rangers, Toronto Blue Jays)
  9. José A. Bautista: 2004 (Baltimore Orioles, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Kansas City Royals, New York Mets and Pittsburgh Pirates).

Notes

  • Hueslman played for the White Sox in two different times
  • Kingman was the first player in doing it in both leagues and in four different divisions
  • Bautista is the only player in doing it in both leagues and for five teams
