Loyola College, Chennai is a Jesuit college in Chennai (formerly known as Madras), India.
The College offers courses in the arts, social sciences, natural sciences, and commerce. It is autonomous, but affiliated to the University of Madras, which grants the degrees.
It was founded in 1925 by a French Jesuit, Father Francis Bertram, with the support of a group of Jesuit priests who had had their grounding at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, and the London School of Economics.
The College offers courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and was ranked the number-one college or institution for Arts programmes in India by India Today in 2003 and 2004. The Arts stream includes subjects such as Economics, History, English, and Sociology. It has also been placed in the top ten institutions in India for Arts, Sciences, and Commerce.
Loyola's campus is in the heart of the city of Chennai. Its tree-lined pathways, steepled chapel, and sprawling grounds are a landmark in the southern metropolis. It also houses some of the best sporting facilities in Chennai — a cricket ground, football and hockey fields, basketball and tennis courts, and so on. Its alumni have gone on to distinguish themselves in many fields, including politics, education, sports, science, business, theatre, film, music, and the arts. Its alumni also include many distinguished civil servants.

- Verghese Kurien "Father of the white revolution" in India. He is credited with being the architect of Operation Flood — the largest dairy development programme in the world. Dr Kurien, set up the Anand model of cooperative dairy development, engineered the White Revolution in India, and made India the largest milk producer in the world.
