Love You (album)
|
The album Love You was released in 1977 and was the twenty-third album officially released by The Beach Boys. The album was produced by Brian Wilson and strongly features the Moog synthesizer. A bizarre, childlike atmosphere pervades the record, with a lyrical emphasis on high school concerns ("Let Us Go On This Way", "Roller Skating Child," "Mona") that lends the record an innocent, yet creepy aura.
Peter Buck of R.E.M. (band) calls this his favorite Beach Boys record.
