Los Angeles normally refers to Los Angeles, California, a U.S. city. In addition, a number of other things have been named after that city:
- Los Angeles County, a county in California containing the city and surrounding area
- The Greater Los Angeles Area, is the urban area around Los Angeles, California. When different people use this description it may or may not include the Inland Empire counties of Riverside and San Bernardino or the Orange County Area.
- Los Angeles--Riverside--Orange County CMSA Consolidated Metropolitan Statistical Area, an obsolete US Census Bureau defined area that also included San Bernardino and Ventura County
- The Los Angeles Basin is the coastal plain surrounded by the Santa Monica Mountains, the Verdugo Mountains, and the Santa Ana Mountains.
- The Port of Los Angeles (next to the communities of San Pedro and Wilmington) along with the adjacent Port of Long Beach handle most of the shipping traffic for the West Coast of the United States
- Los Angeles International Airport (IATA airport code: LAX) is the world's fifth busiest airport and a major international gateway.
- USS Los Angeles, a name shared by several United States Navy vessels
- Los Angeles, a class of United States Navy submarines
