John David Beckett Taylor, Baron Taylor of Warwick (born 1952) is a British politician and Conservative member of the House of Lords.
Taylor stood unsuccessfully for the Conservatives in the 1992 general election in Cheltenham, losing to the Liberal Democrats in a campaign alleged to have focused on race, with Taylor's being black causing concern to local traditional conservatives. He was made a Life Peer in 1996 and was the first black Tory peer. He is Chancellor of Bournemouth University.
