Lock Up
|
Lock Up has been the name of two rock bands.
The first was founded by Tom Morello, later of Rage Against The Machine fame. Lock Up released one album on Geffen Records (Something Bitchin' This Way Comes) in 1989 before they broke up. The title of the album was based on Ray Bradbury's 1962 novel Something Wicked This Way Comes. Brad Wilk, also of Rage Against The Machine, once auditioned for Lock Up.
The second was a death metal band created by bassist Shane Embury, with Tomas Lindberg on vocals, Jesse Pintado on guitar, and Nicolas Barker on drums. They released Pleasures Pave Sewers in 1999, and Hate Breeds Suffering in 2002.
