Little Falls is a town located in Herkimer County, New York. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,544.

Geography
The south boundary of the town is defined by the Mohawk River.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 58.5 km² (22.6 mi²). 58.0 km² (22.4 mi²) of it is land and 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.75% water.
Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 1,544 people, 580 households, and 454 families residing in the town. The population density is 26.6/km² (68.9/mi²). There are 637 housing units at an average density of 11.0/km² (28.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 98.51% White, 0.26% Black or African American, 0.06% Native American, 0.71% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.06% from other races, and 0.39% from two or more races. 0.26% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
