Liberation Tower

Liberation Tower is a tall tower built in 1996 in Kuwait City, Kuwait. Its pinnacle reaches 372 m \ 1221 ft and has a pod about half way down with some floor space for observation deck etc, the roof of which is at 308 m \ 1010 ft. The name refers to Kuwait's liberation in February 1991 at the end of the first Gulf War, which expelled the occupying Iraqis.
