Les Inrockuptibles is a French weekly art criticism magazine. Started as a monthly magazine in 1986, it became weekly in 1996.
In the beginning, rock music was the magazine's primary focus, though every issue included articles on other artistic domains. Currently, many other topics are tackled: cinema, books, society, etc.
The magazine tends to take a left-wing and intellectual approach to art and society, lending itself to accusations of elitism and snobbishness.
