Lanškroun is a town and municipality in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic, on the border between former provinces of Bohemia and Moravia.
The town was founded in the 13th century as the center of the estate of Lanškroun and Lanšperk. In historical documents, it is sometimes called Lanskron, Landskron, Landeskrone, or Kronland (German name).
