Lana River
|
The Lana River is the main river that crosses through the capital of Albania, Tirana. Although once clean, it now carries sewage. Before there were many buildings around and on the banks of the river, but they were torn down and removed in a campaign by Tirana's mayor Edi Rama.

Due to the sewage, there are mice and other animals that live in and around its banks. In some parts of the river, vagabonds and prostitutes could be seen underneath bridges.
