The L.O.X. also known as D-Block is a group of 3 emcees originating from New York discovered by Bad Boy Records boss Sean 'Puffy' Combs. Bad Boy released their first album 'Money, Power, and Respect'. The group consisted of Jadakiss, Sheek Louch and Styles P. LOX's first commercial success came when they collaborated with J.Lo on the track Jenny from the Block when Jadakiss and Styles P added their own verses.
They ended up leaving Bad Boy over financial disputes with record boss P. Diddy and were snapped up by DMX led Ruff Ryders and are now performing under the name of D-Block with an additional member, Jae Hood. D Block have recently gained success with the D Block anthem produced by Eminem. However, their solo efforts seem to dominate the group with Jadakiss achieving commercial success with tracks such as 'We gon' make it' and Styles P having a hit with the track 'My Life' featuring Pharaohe Monch. Sheek Louch also achieved success on his solo LP, Walk witt me. Jadakiss recently released his second LP, Kiss of Death, with Styles P on his way with Time Is Money.
