Kryukovo

Kryukovo (Krjukovo, Крюково) is a former village in Solnechnogorsky district, Moscow region, Russia, currently a part of Zelenograd town. The name Kryukovo now belongs to a railway station.
The village Kryukovo is also well-known, because there was a place, where during the WW2 German forces came the closest to Moscow (41 km). Now several monuments are placed in Kryukovo and the surrounding neighbourhood.
