Kristin Davis (born February 25, 1965) is an American actress who was born in Boulder, Colorado. She is perhaps best known for her role on the HBO program Sex and the City, on which she played the character of Charlotte York. She is also the host of the VH1 show 200 Greatest Pop Culture Icons.
Davis has also had roles in movies and other television series. Her characterization of Charlotte on Sex and the City, however, sent her into the spotlight in the United States and abroad.
