Kodaira (小平市; -shi) is a city located in Tokyo, Japan.
As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 182,549 and the density of 8,922.24 persons per km². The total area is 20.46 km².
The biggest employer in the area is Bridgestone, the tire company. There are several quaint resteraunts and bars(Izakaya's). There is one english language school named American Language School which teaches all ages with two foreign teachers on staff.
The train station serving the area is called Hitotsubashi Gakuen.
The city was founded on October 1, 1962.
Tsuda College is located in this city.
