Kobe Tai (born on January 15, 1972) is an Asian American porn star of Chinese and Japanese heritage. Her real name is Carla Carter. She was born in Taipei, Taiwan and adopted by an American family as an infant. She was raised in Arkansas and attended college there.
Tai began making adult films in 1996. She used the names Blake Young and Brooke Young before adopting the name Kobe Tai. Tai is signed to Vivid Video as an exclusive performer.
Tai's a thin, tiny starlet who began her work in porn in 1996. Tai's notable early work is "Executions on Butt Row" (working with Sean Michaels). Tai's work for Vivid has been limited, but more is expected. Tai's other notable work is in "Vivid Raw #2" (working with Alex Sanders and it is her first Vivid production).
Tai married adult film actor Steven Scott (who performs under the name Mark Davis) in 1997. The couple have since divorced but she continues to use the name Carla Scott.
In addition to her roles in adult films, Tai appeared in the mainstream movie Very Bad Things as a stripper who was accidentally killed at a bachelor party.
