Knox is a borough located in Clarion County, Pennsylvania. As of the 2000 census, the borough had a total population of 1,176.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 1.5 km² (0.6 mi²). 1.5 km² (0.6 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 1,176 people, 528 households, and 337 families residing in the borough. The population density is 796.6/km² (2,056.0/mi²). There are 570 housing units at an average density of 386.1/km² (996.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the borough is 98.98% White, 0.00% African American, 0.60% Native American, 0.17% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.26% from two or more races. 0.85% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 528 households out of which 26.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.6% are married couples living together, 10.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and 36.0% are non-families. 32.2% of all households are made up of individuals and 13.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.23 and the average family size is 2.79.
