Kingsland is a census-designated place located in Llano County, Texas. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 4,584.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 25.3 km² (9.8 mi²). 23.3 km² (9.0 mi²) of it is land and 2.0 km² (0.8 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 7.88% water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 4,584 people, 2,103 households, and 1,343 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 196.7/km² (509.4/mi²). There are 2,803 housing units at an average density of 120.2/km² (311.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 95.66% White, 0.13% African American, 0.31% Native American, 0.52% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 2.31% from other races, and 1.05% from two or more races. 5.89% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 2,103 households out of which 18.2% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.3% are married couples living together, 6.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 36.1% are non-families. 32.4% of all households are made up of individuals and 20.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.13 and the average family size is 2.64.
In the CDP the population is spread out with 17.4% under the age of 18, 5.3% from 18 to 24, 19.6% from 25 to 44, 24.9% from 45 to 64, and 32.9% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 51 years. For every 100 females there are 91.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 87.4 males.
