The King of Prussia Mall is the popular name given to the largest shopping mall on the East Coast of the United States and second largest in the country. The two-mall agglomeration is also the world's largest shopping complex at one discrete location. It is located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, a far northwest suburb of Philadelphia.
The mall is known as being particularly upscale, catering to the needs of the extremely wealthy northern Philadelphia suburbs, with such high-end stores as Armani Exchange, Versace, Tiffany & Co., Burberry, and Louis Vuitton, as well as the exclusive department stores Bloomingdales, Lord & Taylor, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom. The four other department stores include JCPenney, Macy's, Sears, and Strawbridge's. The mall has over 400 speciality shops, eateries, and department stores.
Although the mall is smaller than the Mall of America in terms of area, there is more space devoted purely to retail than any other mall in the country, about 3,000,000 square feet (300,000 m²).
Its slogan is "Life. And all its stores."
There are two parts to this mall:
- Plaza at King of Prussia
- Court at King of Prussia, which includes the Pavilion at King of Prussia
