King of Fighters - Evolution is the Dreamcast port of SNK's King of Fighters '99 for the Neo Geo arcade system and console. It is part of the acclaimed King of Fighters fighting game series. Notable additions in this port include extra "striker" characters that can be unlocked, and 3D backgrounds.
It is relevant to note that the game released as King of Fighters Dream Match 1999 is actually the Dreamcast port of the previous game, King of Fighters '98.
