Khang Khek Leu

Khang Khek Leu (aka Comrade Duch) was a leader in the Khmer Rouge during its rule of Cambodia from 1975 to 1979. He is best known for running the Toul Sleng S-21 prison camp in Phnom Penh. Duch was a mathematics teacher prior to joining the Khmer Rouge. Duch was captured in 1999 and is awaiting trial. He has become a born again Christian.
