Ken Lucas

Kenneth R. Lucas (born August 22 1933), is an American politician. Lucas, a Democrat, was a U.S. Representative from Kentucky's fourth congressional district from 1999 until 2005. He was one of the most conservative Democrats in the House, as reflected by National Journal rankings [1] (http://www.redstate.org/story/2005/2/11/154627/855). He served for three terms and did not run in the 2004 election, which was won by a Republican in his district in a closely watched race.
Biography
Lucas was born in Kentucky and attended the University of Kentucky. After served in the Air Force, he became judge-executive of Boone County. He later was elected to the House.
