Katie Leung (born 12 August 1987 in Scotland, United Kingdom) is best known as the actress who shall play the character of Cho Chang in the coming film version of the J. K. Rowling novel, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Leung lives in Motherwell, a district near Glasgow, Scotland, UK. She currently resides with her father Peter Leung, two brothers, and a younger sister. Leung beat out more than 4,000 in the auditions for the part of Cho Chang.
There is relatively little known about the young actress, as Warner Brothers has forestalled any access to Leung, including interviews and photoshoots. Daniel Radcliffe, the actor playing Harry Potter noted that he found Leung an "awesome" person and was greatly looking forward to the kissing scenes.
