de:Kate Jackson Catherine Elise "Kate" Jackson (born October 29, 1948 in Birmingham, Alabama) is an American actress best known for her role in the 1970s television series Charlie's Angels.
She had earlier played a year-long role in the soap opera Dark Shadows in 1970 as Daphne Harridge. From 1976 to 1979, she played the role of Sabrina Duncan in Charlie's Angels. She was usually considered the best of the three original lead actresses, and she was the only one with prior acting qualifications. She also co-starred in the 1980s TV series "Scarecrow and Mrs. King" with Bruce Boxleitner, in which she depicted a suburban mother who became involved with the CIA.
In 1978, she married the actor Andrew Stevens. They divorced in 1980.
