Joxer is a fictional character played by Ted Raimi in the Xena: Warrior Princess television series. He is a comical warrior, and styles himself "Joxer the Mighty".
The second son of a warlord and a musician, Joxer tries to prove himself to others but no one would take him in, not even Xena. When he tries to serve the evil warlord, Callisto, he was sent to kidnap Xena's companion, Gabrielle. He failed, and Callisto captured both him and Gabrielle.
Joxer appeared again when Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love, had made him a romantic warrior, whom had stolen the heart of a princess so that the merge of two kingdoms would not demolish her temple.
As time went on, Joxer became a loyal and good friend to Xena and Gabrielle. He even befriended Hercules and Iolaus.
When Xena and Gabrielle were crucified by Julius Caesar, Joxer, along with Amarice and Eli, tried to get them out of Rome and have them buried in Greece. Fortunately, he reconsidered when the two female warriors returned to life.
When Xena and Gabrielle had faked their deaths in the eyes of the Olympian Gods, Joxer searched for their bodies when Ares had them buried in an icy tomb. He then moved on with his life, twenty-fives years later, as he married a former harlot named Meg, started a tavern dedicated to the "Warrior Princess and the Battling Bard", and had three children; his eldest Virgil, the poetic warrior, and a boy and a girl whom are unknown.
Discovering that Xena and Gabrielle were alive, he traveled with them again, in search of Eve, Xena's daughter. Eve was actually the Roman tyrant, Livia. Trying to save Gabrielle, Joxer was stabbed in the stomach by Livia.
