There are two Jon Gibson's who are known throughout the world. Both are musicians who are known for their unique musical styles which are on two extreme oposite sides of the musical spectrum. The first Jon Gibson is a flautist and saxophonist who uses other instruments from around the world in his performances and is known for his "Jazz" and "Classical" contributions. He worked with the Philip Glass Ensemble for many years, and also performed in the premiers of In C (by Terry Riley) and Drumming (by Steve Reich).
The second Jon Gibson (http://www.jongibson.com) is a "Soul" and "Gospel/Christian Music" pioneer. He is one the most influencial artists and producers in Christian, Gospel and R&B music with 22 top 5 hits, 9 no. # 1 songs, and an "Album Of The Year" to his credit.
