Johto (Jōto) is a region or state in the Pokémon World. This mountainous region is home to the Johto League and its headquarters are in Silver Town, Mt. Silver in the anime.
It consists of:

Johto lies to the west of Kanto, to the north-east of Hoenn and is based on the area around the Mt. Fuji. Location in reference to Orre is unknown.
So far, it is the only region not featured in a GBA game.
