John VIII of Constantinople

Joannes Xiphilinus, a native of Trebizond, or John Xiphilinus or John VIII was the uncle of the John Xiphilinus the Epimator and patriarch of Constantinople from 1064-1075. He wrote a hagiography of St Eugenios of Trebizond.
