John Rebus

Inspector John Rebus is the protagonist in a series of detective novels by Ian Rankin. The novels are set in Edinburgh. In order, the books in the series are:

A British television series based on the books has been made by Scottish TV (now part of Scottish Media Group PLC). The first series starred John Hannah. Ken Stott is take over the role in the second series, which went into production in 2005.
