John Pulman (1926 - December 25, 1998) was an English professional snooker player who dominated the game throughout the 1960s.
Pulman first reached the final of the world championship in 1955, losing to Fred Davis. Davis beat him again in the 1956 final, before Pulman finally won the championship in 1957. No world championship was held for the next few years until it was revived in 1964 on a challenge basis. Pulman survived seven challenges, remaining champion until 1968.
Pulman retired from professional play in 1982 and died in 1998.pl:John Pulman
