Joe Kinnear (born December 27, 1946 in Dublin) is a football manager.
Joe Kinnear played football for Tottenham Hotspur and the Republic of Ireland national team.
More renowned as a manager, he became manager of Wimbledon in 1992, leading them to sixth in the Premiership, their highest ever position in the top flight, and to the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
After Wimbledon, Joe Kinnear managed Luton Town until being sacked by a mystery consortium which had taken control of the club. In 2004 he was manager of Nottingham Forest before resigning on 16 December after winning only 4 of 23 games played.
During his time as a manager he angered many fans of rival clubs, most notably Plymouth Argyle and Sheffield United, due to comments he made.
