Jason Woliner
|
Jason Woliner was an up-and-coming child actor of the late eighties, appearing in the film "Weekend at Bernie's" and popular children's television show "Shining Time Station". Though he showed promise with his trademark "haircut" and catchphrase "Is there a window open?", Woliner's career was cut tragically short when his face was mangled beyond recognition in a 1992 sledding accident. Since that time, he has shifted his focus toward being a reclusive, mangled former child actor.
From 1997 onward, Woliner has developed something of a second act through his occasional speaking appearances, during which he waxes cautionary on subjects that range from working with Judd Hirsch (as he did in 1992's Broadway hit "Conversations with My Father") to the dangers of sledding. He has not shown his face publicly since the accident, however, and will often delight audiences by wearing the head of a local college or used car establishment's mascot, depending on the town in which he's currently speaking.
