Jamie Farr

Jamie Farr (born July 1, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio), birth name Jameel Joseph Farah, is an American television and film actor who is best known for playing the role of Corporal Maxwell Klinger in the 1970s and '80s US television sitcom, M*A*S*H. He had a supporting role in the 1955 movie, The Blackboard Jungle (billed as Jameel Farah). He is of Lebanese descent.
Since 1984 he has hosted an annual LPGA golf tournament in northwest Ohio, formerly the "Jamie Farr Toledo Classic", renamed the "Jamie Farr Kroger Classic" in 1996 and the "Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic presented by Kroger" in 2004.
