James B. Edwards

James Burrows Edwards (born June 24, 1927) is an American politician and administrator. He served as the governor of South Carolina from 1975 to 1979, the first Republican governor of the state since Reconstruction. He was subsequently the Secretary of Energy under President Ronald Reagan from 1981 to 1982.
