Integralism
|
Integralism is a belief that society is an organic unity. It has a characteristic belief in social hierarchy and in co-operation between the classes. Often seen as a belief in "blood and soil" conservatism, Integralism claims that the best political institutions for given nations will differ depending on the history, culture and climate of the nation's habitat. Integralism usually strongly supports a national church, or Erastianism.
Integralism often overlaps with fascism (especially in Latin America) although there exist many natural points of disagreement, especially the integralist stress on localism.
