Infinity Broadcasting
The Infinity Broadcasting Corporation is one of the largest owners and operators of radio stations in the United States, second only to main rival Clear Channel Communications. The corporation owns around 180 radio stations operated from 22 states located across the country. In 2002 its sales were $3.7bn, an increase of just over 1% on the previous year.
Infinity Broadcasting is a subsidiary of Viacom, which also owns a variety of other properties such as the CBS, MTV, and UPN television networks.
