Imadate, Fukui

Imadate (今立町; -chou) is a town located in Imadate District, Fukui, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 13,469 and a density of 296.48 persons per km². The total area is 45.43 km².
On October 1, 2005, Imadate will merge with the neighboring city of Takefu to form a new city that will be known as Echizen.
