Track descriptions
Intro
Intoduction to the album. A 12-second tune, reminiscent of songs used in silents films of the past.
Are You Happy Now?
First single off the album and Hotel Paper's biggest hit. Very rockish and more edgy than most of her past music. The lead guitar was played by Jane's Addiction's Dave Navarro. The lyrics speak of a messy break-up.
Find Your Way Back
Uptempo guitar riffs. Lyrics speak of longing for a love lost.
Empty Handed
Uptempo song. Very rockish with a melodic symphonic background. Lyrics speak of leaving a dead-end relationship.
Tuesday Morning
Beautiful acoustic guitar melody. Midtempo song. Lyrics speak of the rememberance of a night spent with someone you love.
One Of These Days
Purely acoustic, piano-driven song. Lyrics speak of mourning the loss of a significant other, without sharing your true feelings. And yearning for their return.
Love Me Like That
This is a country-esque duet with pop sensation Sheryl Crow. Lyrics speak of a relationship in which one half gives their all to the other, yet the feelings are not returned.
Desperately
Mostly acoustic guitar driven ballad. Very slow tempo. Lyrics speak of longing for a love lost. Even though the relationship is over, the feelings have not faded.
Breathe
Second single off of the album. Uptempo, guitar-driven pop song. Lyrics speak of taking your time in a relationship.
Where Are You Now?
Uptempo song. Lyrics speak of searching for that special someone.
Hotel Paper
Guitar-driven ballad. Lyrics speak of longing for an unattainable love.
'Til I Get Over You
Third single off of the album. Guitar-driven ballad. The haunting lyrics speak of "getting over" a serious relationship.
It's You
Acoustic bonus track. Lyrics speak of loving that special someone.
