Hornchurch Country Park

Hornchurch Country Park is a park on the former site of Hornchurch Airfield, south of Hornchurch in the London Borough of Havering, East London.
The River Ingrebourne passes through the park.
Hornchurch Airfield
Hornchurch Airfield, then known as RAF Hornchurch was a Royal Air Force station during World War 2.
Apart from Hornchurch Country Park, part of the land formerly occupied by the airfield is now a housing estate. The names of the streets of the estate commemorate the airfield and its pilots.
