Hopkinton is a census-designated place (CDP) located in the town of Hopkinton in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 2,628.

Hopkinton is located at 42°13'29" North, 71°31'9" West (42.224863, -71.519286)Template:GR.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 4.3 km² (1.7 mi²). 4.3 km² (1.7 mi²) of it is land and 0.60% is water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 2,628 people, 1,003 households, and 672 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 611.3/km² (1,584.3/mi²). There are 1,024 housing units at an average density of 238.2/km² (617.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 97.18% White, 0.34% Black or African American, 0.15% Native American, 0.91% Asian, 0.08% Pacific Islander, 0.68% from other races, and 0.65% from two or more races. 2.05% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 1,003 households out of which 34.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.4% are married couples living together, 9.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 33.0% are non-families. 28.9% of all households are made up of individuals and 14.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.52 and the average family size is 3.17.
