The Honda HSC (High-Performance Sports Concept) is a sports car concept that was unveiled at Japan's Tokyo Motor Show, 2003.
It was designed to supersede the Honda NSX. However at this date there are rumours the HSC may not be produced.
Definitive technical specifications for the HSC have not yet been released. Preliminary reports at the Tokyo International Auto Show hinted at the possibility of either a 3.5 or 3.8 L 6 cylinder VTEC engine, capable of producing 350 to 400 hp (260 to 300 kW). The engine would be mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission shiftable via F1-style paddles behind the steering wheel. Along with that would be Bluetooth wireless connectivity, ACURA NavTraffic via a 7" naviation screen, and possibly the SH-AWD currently found in the Acura RL flagship sedan.
