Honda Accord (USDM)

Production of the Honda Accord started in Ohio in 1982, and in late 1997, a version of the Accord was released especially for the North American market distinct in size, design and engine from its similarly-named European and Japanese siblings. This version was sold in North and South America, South Africa, Asia (excluding Japan) and Oceania.
In 2002, the seventh-generation Accord was released, with two versions: a four-cylinder narrow-bodied sedan tailored for sporty driving, developed mainly for Japan and Europe, but also sold in South Africa and Oceania. This car is also now sold in America as the Acura TSX.
A wide-bodied sedan tailored for luxury and a smooth ride, was also released, primarily for the North American market. Variants of this car are manufactured in:

- Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico (Accord for South America/limited export to USA)
- Sayama, Saitama, Japan (Inspire/Accord 2.4 LX for North America)
- Guangzhou, China (Accord/Accord V6 for China/Hong Kong)
- Bangkok, Thailand (Accord/Accord V6 for ASEAN countries)
